Quick Sunday house update

I went to see the house with Amit and his wife Gera today. It had not changed on the outside, but there are now walls inside. Really starting to feel like a real house! Check out this week’s update for pictures.

Today…

Today I accomplished almost nothing and it felt great. Sure, I went to the bank (two of them actually) and the grocery store, and re-arranged a few things in the office, but that was about it. I have two Netflix DVDs to watch but I’m still recovering fro the three hour epic known as The Two Towers, that I watched last night.
Though I must admit that I was bored more than once today, it’s nice to not be writing a review or magazine column for once.
This is really the calm before the storm, though, as I’ve got an ambitious site redesign project coming up that’s going to require lots of programming, and even worse, lots of data entry. And one of these days, I’d like to go down south to visit my sister and some friends… and I’ve been talking about going to Florida for a few days in October. I need to be refreshed before my big move and the busy holiday camera shopping season!

This just in

Regarding my rant from yesterday:
To Our Valued Apple Customer:
We are very excited that the Power Mac G5 systems have started shipping and want to provide an update on the status of your order.
The demand for the dual processor PowerMac has been overwhelming and our employees are working around the clock to meet demand. Initial units will be sent to education institutions to meet key back to school deadlines. We currently anticipate shipping your new G5 PowerMac in 10-15 business days.

I hope they at least upgrade my shipping or something!

I’m out of titles

One thing I did accomplish after writing my diatribe below was moving around my two computers. I got a KVM switch so I can share a keyboard, mouse, and my LCD with both my Mac and PC. That means I can unload my 19″ monitor and a bunch of other stuff that I don’t need anymore.
