Because everyone else is doing it…
Golf ball-sized hail

It hailed like crazy a few minutes ago. I always enjoy watching this, as it happens so rarely here. Anyhow, that’s not really a huge piece of hail on the doormat, it’s the golf ball that found it’s way into my yard last week. I can’t imagine those falling from the sky!

A few years ago I looked at a house on a golf course. Near the back patio there was some chicken screen with nothing growing on it. The seller said “oh, I grew sweet peas on it last year.” Also had it outside some windows on the north side of the house which he said was “for privacy in the summer.” Soon there was a loud bang. The house had metal siding, and further inspection showed about a dozen dimples on the side of the house facing the fairway. I’m glad you aren’t any closer to the golf course.

Hey, I almost bought a house on the golf course! It’s right across the street from this one. Would’ve cost $30,000 more. Glad I didn’t, and spent my money on upgrades instead!

You’re sure that’s not stucco falling off that brand new house?
