Because everyone else is doing it…
Angel’s Trumpets blooming at last

I planted these a year ago and they’re finally doing something! I’ve never seen a plant grow as fast as this thing… it’s tripled in size in a year. And now these huge flowers have appeared.

Hi.
Just a word of caution: all parts of this plant (also known as Brugmansia) are poisonous and may be fatal if ingested by humans or animals. It is even prohibitted by some municipalities.
It is still a lovely plant with an intoxicating sent.

I discovered the angel trumpet in 9/2007 and my daughter helped me to plant the trumpet plus a plant she gave my for my birthday. She also planted a dinner plate dahlia. In the fall, she was murdered and the plants she planted for me were huge, like I have never seen before. Janie started me on my love for angel trumpets, ‘
I guess she is my angel trumpet.
