Home sweet home
Posted on November 14th, 2005 2 commentsNo matter how interesting the place I’ve visiting may be, I always get homesick after a few days. So, even though this isn’t really “home” yet, I was still glad to be back in Oakland. And speaking of sick, the cold that I fought off before I left seems to be making a comeback.
The flight back was nearly six hours, which is about six hours too long for my taste (not a fan of flying). Overall the United PS experience was great… upgrading to business class didn’t hurt either. Basically I was either eating, looking out the window, or watching movies on the personal DVD player they give you.
The trip was good — a bit rushed — and I’ll have pictures sometime tomorrow, I hope.2 responses to “Home sweet home”

Jeff:
How much did easy check-in offer you a buy up to Biz for? So you’re not a fan of flying and you have Hong Kong, Japan, and South American on your places to visit list
My flight to Hong Kong last week was 14.5 hours and then I still had another 3+ to go to get to Singapore. Went to Tokyo Disney today and the place was packed, I couldn’t believe it. The Christmas decorations were up and they looked really nice

I didn’t pay for the upgrade, I did it with miles when I booked the tickets.
