I can’t think of anything I’d rather do on Friday night than change a tire. In the dark. In the pouring rain. But that’s just what I did tonight. It started out innocently enough. I was going to stop in at a local cafe to do some work at the gym. While parallel parking I hit the curb — evidently at the wrong angle. When I got out of the car, the tire was losing air fast, and it was flat in about three minutes. So, I changed the tire. This was the first time I’ve ever done it by myself, and I pulled it off. A lady who lived nearby came out with a flashlight to help out, and I’m grateful for her help. So, the car is back in action, and I have a tire to replace.
I seem to be cursed with flat tires lately… I’ve had like four in the last year (on two different cars).

    • Americas Tire Store’s fix
flats for Free, I went there
with a nail in my tire and
they fixed it and checked the
      air pressure and another tire
had low reading and it had
a nail also, offered to pay
for the fix, but they said
no we fix flats for free.
When I need new tires I’ll
go to them. Check it out.

    • and you passed your curse to me… I got a flat later the day I read that, in the dark and freezing cold (though fortunately not rain).
