Because everyone else is doing it…
UK 2007: York (part 2)

And now, here’s the second half of my York photos!

I think I should make a coffee table book of European doors

Very quaint

More quaitness

Lots of cool old buildings here

Buildings seem to lean into the narrow street

I just like the name of this place

Britain’s version of the 99-cent store…
All Saints church

What’s left of the old castle

My favorite sign in all of York

Yet another door/gate

Now I’m walking on the city wall

York Minster towers over everything in the village

One last look at York Minster
All in all, I liked York… I felt like it was hard to navigate…
like I was going in circles (I probably was). But it definitely was worth the
2 hour train ride.

OMG, Poundland. That’s so funny and of course looks so much more classy than the dollar store.

Glad to hear you had a good trip! I have to agree, the “Poundland” was one of my favorites if anything just for a laugh. But… wouldn’t that really make everything around $1.50?? LOL

$1.50? I wish! Try $2.00!

It’s been 13 year ago since I visited York and it’s amazing that I still remember a lot. It’s like I see my own pictures again.
