  • Finally got my MRI

After months of jumping through hoops at Kaiser, tonight I finally got an MRI of my foot and ankle. They spent about a half an hour scanning my foot, and even with ear plugs, the machine was incredibly noisy. I was definitely nervous during the test, and I was only partially in the “tube”.  I can imagine that I’d really be uncomfortable if my head was in there!

Anyhow, I should have results by the beginning of next week. Not sure I want them to find something, but it would be nice to have an explanation as to why my foot has been acting funny for the last six months.

    • I would have a heart attack if I was put in there completedly.

    • Love the giant GE logo at the top.

    • Aside from the GE logo and the countdown clock, there wasn’t much to look at for the half hour…

    • hey jeff. i know how you feel. when the doctors had my neck examined in the MRI back in 2008, i stayed there with my entire body inside it for 40 mins – without earplugs. *lol* i was almost going nuts in there. i imagined being on a sunny beach when i closed my eyes…that helped a bit.
i cross my fingers they gonna find the reasons for all this.. good luck!
