Bah
Posted on August 3rd, 2009 4 commentsI come back from a weekend trip to Southern California (for business and pleasure) to find my 1.5 month old, $650 bicycle stolen out of my garage (which is for storage, not cars). You can’t see into the garage driving by, so someone had to know the bike was in there, walk up the driveway, and take it. I filed a police report and contacted the neighbors, but I’m not counting on ever seeing that bike again.
On top of that, one of the tires on my car had a nail in it, and air was leaking. Thankfully it was only $30 to fix that problem.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Jeff, $30 to fix a flat, you must have run
flat tires, I just had a Philips screw in
my tire and America’s Tire Store fixed it
for free. The first time I went to Americas
Tire Store to have a flat fixed I did not
know they fix flats for free, but they do. -
Did you buy your tires there? I’m surprised they do it for free to anyone that walks in the door. Good to know, though!

Jeff, the first time I had America’s Tire
fix a flat the repair guy checked the air
pressure on the other wheels and said the
pressure was low on one tire so we rotated
the wheel and it also had a nail so he pulled
it off and fixed it. I went to pay for it
and he said no charge we fix flats for free
tell you friends about it, I told him I
had not bought the tires there and he said
that was ok. Think I pick up all the nails
and screws at Home Depot -dam it.
