Cool pic of the week

When I first saw this scene I thought, I need to come back in the morning when the lighting is better. But I converted it to black and white and played with the contrast a bit, and I like the result. So here’s the Pt. Bonita Lighthouse in the Marin Headlands, taken with the Canon EOS-7D.

Took this last night just before bedtime. Zoe is all bundled up and ready for a good night’s sleep. Of course, she already spent most of the day sleeping, so I don’t know why she needs even more.
Snow in Oakland (belated)

Okay, so this happened a week ago, but it was still very cool. I woke up one morning last week and there was snow outside! Not much, mind you, but it never snows here!
