Because everyone else is doing it…
Photos from Vegas
I spent Thursday night through Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas. Friday and part of Saturday were mostly spent at CES, and my mom joined me over the weekend for some sightseeing. We had some great food (Mesa Grill = yum), saw a really good show (LOVE) and donated some money to casinos.
I was curious to check out the new CityCenter development, and I made a few trips over there. So, most of the pictures below are from there. Enjoy!
- View from my room on the 53rd floor at Encore
- The Palazzo
- The Venetian
- Ahh, fake Venice
- One of the few “old” places left
- Paris in the day
- Paris at Night
- Mini Champs Elysees
- Nice ceiling
- CityCenter during the day
- Similar shot taken at night
- Entry to CityCenter
- Aria has this big wall of water surrounding the entry
- And this cool fountain in the middle where the colliding streams of water is colored
- Same fountain, at night
- The lobby at Aria feels like an airport terminal — the casino is much nicer
- Shop at Aria
- Cool-looking restaurant
- I love Veer
- I love it so much that I took a closer photo
- Inside of Crystals
- Here’s some white paint and some sheetrock — go crazy
- Is that supposed to be a finger?
- Water spouts, some above ground
- And some below
- Lots of crazy art at CityCenter
- Interesting…
- Trees?
- Not sure what this is supposed to be

Nice. I am not up on my Las Vegas news so I didn’t know about this place. Looks interesting.
When I can’t figure out something like the last photo I say “this is art.”
