Now THIS is a monitor!
Back when I was having a really bad day earlier this week I remembered that old saying: when the going gets tough, the tough go shopping. So I bought myself the long-desired Apple 23" HD Cinema Display. And it's here, it's huge, and it's awesome! Yes, I have a bit too much disposable income... but buying it made me feel so much better for a few hours!
Oh, and "thanks mom" for the education discount!
Update: Argh, it doesn't work with my KVM!

Well, having too much disposable income is not such a bad thing, but reading your site makes me want to rethink my career in software development. If there is that much coin to be hauled in from having a review site, it might be time to jump ship! Enjoy the new Cinema Display.
Well not every review site will make money. My camcorder site doesn't do very well... I'm just very lucky with the camera site, that's all. It took a lot of time to get where I am today. Can you believe at one point I wanted to give up and close down the site because it wasn't taking off?!
I had no idea! I believe your camera site was the first one I found when researching my first digicam purchase four years ago, but I can't remember what led me there. Anyhow, it's a great site Jeff and makes for pleasant reading when I should be coding ;-) Your blog is also fun to read. Do you suppose the camcorder site doesn't do as well because fewer people are buying camcorders these days? I should say that's my impression and maybe fewer people aren't buying them or sales have been fairly consistent, I'm not sure.
Good luck with the house hunting. I'm with you on the Rockridge area being very nice. College Avenue is one of my favorite destinations on the weekends.
