June 25th Garden Update

| | Comments (3)

My garden is enjoying the summer heat, though today it was only about 85. I even impressed one of the HP PR girls last week: "wow, you're pretty good at gardening for a guy!"

Today's strawberry harvest

My hibiscus rules

I forget the real name for this, I call it the cotton candy tree. They're all over town.

This one is a mystery. I bought it expecting to get Sweet 100 tomatoes, and these are definitely NOT Sweet 100s.

Some of my MANY grapes. Look for a Keller Estates Private Reserve later this year.

From left to right: Fountain grass, crappy gerbera daisies, Japanese blood grass, more fountain grass.

My corn is almost 2 feet tall!

Photos taken with the Nikon D50.

Mmm... strawberries! They look great. In fact I'm impressed with everything, considering I had two plants and killed them both.

Your "cotton candy tree" looks like a crepe myrtle. I have two in my front yard.

Yes, that's it, thanks Damon!
