The bulk of your readers probably wouldn't have been able to tell the difference while you were away. If they see your site continually updated even with just news while you're "gone fishin'", traffic may probably continue it's regular momentum.

Yeah - fresh content will drive traffic. It's not just the vacation, however, but nothing really happened in digi-camera news in July. I always felt that you should do a few creative articles to inject in slow periods, like shoot-outs between popular cameras, or a specific feature review (e.g., which P&S camera is best at ISO 400?) They'd be good helping to maintain interest when new announcements and reviews are slow in coming. However, you've got a great site Jeff.
