A farewell to rats?
For the two years that I've lived in this house, I've had a bit of a rodent problem in my "basement". I've probably caught more than a dozen rats in that time, earning the basement its "rat room" nickname.
I've had exterminators come out, but nobody stopped the problem -- they were still getting in somehow. Then, last week, I had the rat guy come out again and he discovered a possible entrance on top of my "garage" (which is more like a storage shed). This weekend my dad and I boarded it up, and while we were doing so, found a nice hole in the wallboard which could easily fit a rat or two. So, we closed off that one too.
I'm crossing my fingers that this will finally keep the rats out of the basement. And no, I'm not sending in the cats to get them.

This is totally off topic, but...I saw you played HL2:EP2.
Did you buy The Orange Box? I love Team Fortress 2. I've been playing it since the Beta came out. Portal is just a trip.
"Didn't we have some good times, though? Remember when the platform was going into the fire and I said I was going to murder you and you were all no way and I was like just kidding. Those were fun times."
P.S. The cake is a lie.
Try putting some Fresh Cab in your garage and basement as well. It seems to work for me. I had a rodent problem 2.5 years ago but am now rodent free.
