Job perk numero uno
I was reminded of the best part of my job today, when two boxes from Nikon arrived today. Being one of the first to get their mitts on the amazing D300 (not to mention that huge 70-300 VR lens) is pretty fun! Now I just need to make some time to go out and shoot!

I agree with you Jeff, that is a very good job perk to uplift your spirts.
Those point and shoot cameras have been fighting that useless mega pixel war too long. I scratch my head when I wake up to see yet another 12.1 mega pixel camera has been released. There is too much marketing in digital cameras, and not enough engineering to satisfy some hungry consumers.
I'd rather read a review on a camera that is designed for quality.
Have fun, and keep it honest.
I love the 70-300mm VR lens on my Nikon D50.
