After a quick dinner we headed back into Yellowstone (which isn&#8217;t hard, as the entrance is literally around the block) for some dusk wildlife viewing.  While we didn&#8217;t see any new animals (plenty of bison and elk though), I did get the nice sunset shot you see above. It was a fitting [...]]]></description>

<p>Today we put a ton of miles on our fabulous rental SUV. We drove south from<br />
West Yellowstone through Idaho (right through potato country), over the very<br />

which has some really rugged mountains and several large lakes. Like at Yellowstone,<br />
most of the services were still closed for the winter. That didn&#8217;t take away<br />
from the scenery, though&#8230; pictures after the link.</p>

Today we drove all over the other (accessible) parts of Yellowstone. We went
to Mammoth Hot Springs, Canyon, and Yellowstone Lake. The weather was all over
the place&#8230; from sun to rain to hail to snow, and then back again. Tomorrow
we&#8217;re off to Grand Teton!
