Disneyland Surprise (3pm)
As I walked out of DCA, there it was. Disneyland, one of my favorite places
anywhere. I was going to take a break back at the hotel, but then I got the
temptation. I pulled out my annual pass, and walked through the gates!

A canoe paddles past Tom Sawyer Island. Since I was in the area, I rode Thunder
Mountain (with only a 10-15 minute wait). I also saw that the new restaurant
that replaced Casa Mexicana has opened. They had all kinds of things, from standard
mexican dishes to ribs.

After walking on to Space Mountain (quite a change from next door!), I went
to check out the new Autopia. Here's a little sample.

They added those banners to Innoventions since I was last here. Maybe people
had no idea what was over there since the entrance is over by Autopia. The Rocket
Rods are still closed and nothing has changed at all. While the sign says they'll
be back this spring, I wouldn't count on it.
