Ok Jeff, get us to another land: Fantasyland

I rode a grand total of zero rides here, but that wasn't really my mission for today anyway. (For those who are wondering, we hit Indy, Space, Splash, and Thunder). My mission was, of course, to take pictures, and to get a mint julip (never had one before.. more on that later..)

After watching Rocket Rods fly by, I took the shot on the left of the Autopia cars. It would be cool if they connected the two autopias (rumor has it that they may).. maybe have interchanges and things like that..
To the right is, of course, the Matterhorn. Looking cool, though it seems like the waterfalls were a little dry.

Critter Country

Ahh... spring.. after two months of rain, you knew that people would be lining up in droves for ride down Splash Mountain. I took two photos of it: the top left one is a bit red, but is still nice. The one of the right is good too. On the bottom left, you can see the train as it exits Splash Mountain.

New Orleans Square

Here I had my very first mint julip. It was refreshing, and pretty strong. I was surprised that it was only $1.95. Above you can see some nice tulips where were right next to where I sat.

Frontierland: Last Stop!

The little action shot on the left came out a little dark, but that's why they created Photoshop ;-) Thunder Mtn. has it's moments in the front seat, but the back rules. For my last trick: the shooting gallery appears on the right. I like the fireworks on the top.. nice touch...

We were in the park from about 9:15am til about 3pm, including tram travel from Pinocchio. Things were starting to get crowded when we left.

Hey, I'm dying to know what you thought about these pictures and my narration! Drop Jeff a line with your comments!
