Since it had been 3 weeks since I had last been to Brentwood, I figured I should drop in to see what's up. They've got to be working on my foundation by now, right?
Nope. While they've flattened the plot, the only thing going on here was the sprinkler keeping things wet. It was 103° outside (it was 62° back in SF when I got home).
Here's the view from my (future) front door. As you can see, the big plan 4 house next door is not blocking my "top of Mt. Diablo" view.
Here is the view from what I think will be my garage, looking the other way down the street. There will be houses over there eventually.
Here is a view from down the street, looking toward my house. It will be to the right of the house all the way over on the right.
Since I drove all the way out to Brentwood, I figured that I might as take a look at the other houses on the block.
Here is my neighbor's house, a plan 4 (two story) model.
Here is the house on lot 1 -- it's finished! I took this shot in the afternoon so the lighting wasn't great. But my house looks exactly like this one. The standard front landscaping has been installed, and that's what I'll have as well.
These are the houses next door to the one above... lots 2-4. They are nearing completion, and are all two story.
I wonder what kind of trees are in the standard landscaping package? Sure can't tell from this shot.
So that's all for this update... I imagine I'll be back out soon to see my foundation when it is completed!
