Today wasn't supposed to be a house-related trip (the family and I were going to pick fruit in Brentwood), but we ended up stopping off at the development for an hour or so.
We looked at my lot, which is nearing the time for its slab to be poured.
They've painted the wall, but that's about it. The slab foundation will be here soon though!
The view toward Mt. Diablo from my future front yard. Looks like I'll still have a bit of a mountain view.
Here's the kitchen of a similar model down the street. These are my cabinets. The folks with this house didn't upgrade much of anything... lots of linoleum!
We also went back to the house on lot 1 to see how that was coming along. The cabinets are mostly there, everything's painted, and it's starting to look like a real house. Soon I'll be able to view my house in the same way!
After that, it was time to pick some fruit -- cherries, pullouts, and apricots to be exact!
