I needed a break from work, so it was off to Brentwood. And what a surprise when I got there -- the house is basically done!!
Look! The roof is done... so is the driveway... even the landscaping is there!

Lots of bark, some boring plants and another tree.

Here's the view from the super family room. The lights are on, the appliances installed, and wow it's looking complete!

Looking into the office. Yes that's carpet... very hard to see.
Here is the master bedroom... the carpet is a sort of berber... not the obnoxious kind. It's nice.

The air conditioner! Man's best friend out there. But wait, there's more...
My back lawn and patio are installed!
Here's the view from the kitchen. The patio was smaller than I was expecting, but that's what I paid for.
The hole in the garage floor was filled and now there's this metal pole there. I guess it's to keep you from ramming your Suburban into the water heater.
Automated sprinkler system for the lawn, and fancy fire sprinkler system for the house.
As you can see, it was an exciting trip. My inspection is later this month... then the keys are mine!
After the house I went to check out the new Target store (which is actually in Antioch). I think I'll be there a lot picking up house supplies... and they had a nice grocery section as well.
