Everglades National Park
I briefly headed to the Everglades, on my way to Miami Beach. I was told you see "all the good stuff" at the Anhinga Trail right inside the park entrance, so that's where I went. When I say "good stuff", that includes birds, fish, turtles, raccoons, and alligators. I didn't seen any panthers or snakes, thankfully.
This egret was
one of many (many) birds I spotted around the trail.

These birds
were interesting -- they would vibrate big sacs on their neck.

One of the larger
alligators I spotted along the trail. I wouldn't mess with him.

Just a few inches
difference in elevation can totally change the plant growth in the Everglades.
