Oklahoma vs. Missouri Canon EOS-D60 Photos NCAA Western Region Championship Game March 23, 2002 San Jose, CA

Notes about the pictures:

• All photos were taken with the Canon EOS-D60 Digital SLR camera using a Canon F4.6-5.6 75-300mm lens (Thanks, Alex).

• I used high ISO settings (usually 800) since I was 20 rows from the floor, had a relatively slow, telephoto lens, and had no tripod (like there was any room for one up there). These images are noisier than you'd get at the standard ISO 100 setting, but are pretty darn good even with the noise. I have noted the ISO setting below each photo. For more information, the EXIF data is preserved in the full-sized photos.
  
  
• I tried both one-shot AF and AI servo. You can look at the EXIF data for the specific picture to see which I used for that shot. Manual focus was not used.
  
  
• Clicking on the thumbnail will bring up an 800 x 600 mid-sized photo. Click on the text link below the thumbnail for the original image. Be warned that they are several megabytes!
  
  
• What really impressed me with this camera: take a look at the game shots. After you look at the players, look at the people in the crowd. The detail in the faces is amazing... this camera just blew my socks off. The lens helped a bit, too :-)
